This eighteenth report of the Orange County Annual
Survey, UCI, continues to monitor social, economic and political trends.
The 1999 survey was conducted September 1-13, and included random telephone
interviews with 1,000 Orange County adults in English and Spanish. The
margin of sampling error is +/- 3% at the 95% confidence level for the
